Setting up the Mandrill Account: –<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To get started, you’ll need a <\/a>Mandrill<\/a><\/strong> account. If you have an existing account, fill in the Username or Email <\/strong>and Password <\/strong>field. Click on <\/a>Log in<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are using <\/a>Mandrill for the first time, sign up by clicking <\/a>Create an account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter your Business Email<\/strong>, Username,<\/strong> and Password<\/strong> in the required fields. If you don\u2019t want to receive emails about Mailchimp, click on the checkbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on <\/a>Sign up to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will receive an email on the email address you provided to sign up for <\/a>Mandrill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open your email account inbox in the second tab or window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will see an Activate Account<\/strong> button in the email. Click on that button to activate your account. You will be redirected to the <\/a>Mailchimp <\/strong>window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are four types of plans<\/strong> available for the user with different options. Select the method <\/strong>according to your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After selecting the plan, a pop-up window with the title preparing your account<\/strong> will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installing and Activating the Post SMTP Plugin: –<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before getting started, you\u2019ll need to <\/a>install the Post SMTP plugin<\/a><\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s cover the steps to set up <\/a>Mandrill<\/a><\/strong> with Post SMTP.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to the Post SMTP dashboard<\/strong> and click on Start the wizard.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A window will pop up containing different Mailers services<\/strong>. Select <\/a>Mandrill<\/a> <\/strong>from here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the From Address,<\/strong> there are two required fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a.     From Email (You must use the same email address you used to log in to your <\/a>Mandrill <\/strong>account.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b.     From Name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"A<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cPrevent plugins and themes for changing this\u201d toggle button will be under the From Email and Name fields. Check both of them enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, you have to enter the API Key<\/strong>. Click on API Key <\/strong>to redirect to the Mandrill API Key <\/strong>screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will be redirected to the settings of <\/a>Mandrill. Click on our API to create an API Key<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pop-up window will appear with a button named +Add API Key<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Return to the Post SMTP<\/strong> settings after copying the entire key, and paste the text into the Mandrill API<\/strong> Key field. Click Save and Continue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the Recipient Email Address <\/strong>and click Send Test Email<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on the Finish <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
