Hi Erol,
I am afraid some of these are known bugs.
I will ask the developer to respond to you when he is able to, as this is not something I am able to help with I’m afraid.
Sorry!
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorInteresting! Thanks for feeding back.

TimTimModeratorHi Mick,
Please check your DNS – I can’t resolve it! I checked on WhatsMyDNS too: https://www.whatsmydns.net/

TimTimModeratorHi Mark,
Sounds good. Thanks.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Mick,
I need your login URL please. 🙂
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Mark,
Ah, yes, the Session Transcript does help! Unfortunately this is a known bug. The developer is working on this, but is very busy so as of right now, I can’t give you a timescale for the fix.
Unfortunately your best bet is to look at Authenticated SMTP as a replacement.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Javier,
So, is CF7 sending from the exact same email address as the Office 365 API sender email? They must match, or mail won’t be sent.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Mick,
Can you send me admin login details for your site? Please tick the box ‘Set as private reply‘ when replying so that it is only visible to you, me, and the developer.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Zvonimir,
Unfortuantely the API extension isn’t going to work with your site for now then. The best option is to consider using Authenticated SMTP, as that will work.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Rachel,
Sorry it gave you trouble the first time, but I’m glad you got it working the second time around.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Zvonimir,
Can you check the session log for one of the affected emails? I suspect it will say that it was sent via
smtp:none:none://localhost:25
If this is the case, then unfortunately this is due to a known bug. The developer is working on this, but unfortunately I don’t have a timescale for the fix to give you right now.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Rachel,
Just checking you are using the URL style below?
https://example.com/wp-admin/The ‘/’ after wp-admin is particularly important.
Have you checked your API permissions are also set on your Azure app?
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Mick,
If you just disable the ‘Office 365 API Extension’ plugin and not the main PostSMTP plugin, it should enable you to go back through the wizard/settings and set up Authenticated SMTP.
Hope that helps.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Mick,
Yes – as far as I have seen, using Authenticated SMTP without the Office 365 API extension works fine.
I have a few sites myself doing this, and no problems reported/noticed.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorGlad this is now sorted. 🙂
Kind Regards,
