Send Test Notification

Post SMTP Alerts now includes a small but powerful feature Send Test Notification.

This tool helps you instantly confirm your alert integrations (Slack, Twilio, Microsoft Teams, Webhooks, Pushover.) are connected and working correctly.

Instead of guessing whether your alert setup is functioning, you can send a quick test message and verify the connection in real time.

How It Works

1. Add Your Connection Credentials

Configure your preferred alert service inside Post SMTP.

If you need help connecting, refer to our detailed guides for each alerts.

2. Send a Test Notification

Once your alert is connected, the Send Test Notification button becomes active.

Click it, and a test message will be delivered directly to the channel or app you’ve configured.

3. Confirm Successful Delivery

If you see the test message in your selected platform, your integration is successfully set up and ready to use.

With the test notification feature, you can confidently ensure your alert integrations are reliable, secure, and fully functional, before deploying them in a live environment.
