Microsoft Teams

Post SMTP is integrated with Microsoft Teams, so you can always stay on top and keep your website up to date. This extension will enable you to configure a WebHook to receive alerts regarding failed emails on any channel in your team.

Let’s Get Started!

• Go to WordPress Admin Dashboard, then navigate to Post SMTP > Extensions 
• Enable the Microsoft Teams Notifications extension.
• Then click the “Save & Continue” button.

• From the left menu bar, navigate to Post SMTP > Settings.
• Now, click on the Notifications tab

• Click the Microsoft Teams button to activate.

Configuration

• Open Microsoft Teams in your browser of choice or open the Microsoft Teams app.
• Navigate to the Chat section.
• If you have no Team’s channel made, then click on the Create team Button
• If you have an existing channel made, then navigate to See all your teams menu and click the Create team button.

• If you have a team, skip the following  step
• Add your team information accordingly 
• Click Create

• Click the three dots next to the name of the channel you just created to receive alerts.
• Once the sub-menu appears, click on Manage channel.

• Then click on Edit in the Connectors section 

• Processed to search for the Incoming webhook area.
• And click the Add button.

• Add your WebHook name 
• And click Create

• Copy the URL 
• And click Done

• Go back to your website.
• Navigate to Post SMTP > Settings. Paste the URL in the Teams WebHook field.
• Then, click Save Changes.
