Maileroo is a reliable email delivery platform that enables websites and applications to send transactional emails efficiently. As a third-party service, it allows you to send authenticated emails without managing complex infrastructure.

Ensure that the Post SMTP plugin is installed and activated on your WordPress site. If not, download it from the WordPress Plugin Directory.

Setting up Your Maileroo Account

To get started, you’ll need to create an Maileroo account. If you already have an account, log in at Maileroo Login. If not, sign up and complete the activation steps.

Once logged in:

Click on the Email API.

Verifying Your Domain

1. From the left-hand menu, click on Domains.

2. Click on the Add Domain button.

3.  Fill in the following:.

Name: Choose a name to identify this domain and click on Add Domain.

4.  By clicking, you will see DNS records. Add these records to your domain’s DNS settings.

5.  Once completed, return to Maileroo and click Verify DNS Records to verify your domain..

6. Once DNS Records are verified, navigate to Sending Keys. .

7. Click on the New Sending Key button.

8. Fill in the following:

  • Name: Choose a name to identify this token

Click Generate key.

9. Then copy the API key for later use.

Connect Maileroo with Post SMTP

Once your domain is verified and your API key is ready, you can proceed with the Post SMTP Setup Wizard:

1. From your WordPress dashboard, open Post SMTP.

2. Start the setup wizard and choose Maileroo as your mailer.

3. Click Continue to proceed to the configuration screen.

In This Step:

  • Enter your From Email Address and Name.
  • Ensure your From Email matches the Admin Email Address and the domain you verified in Maileroo.
  • Enable the toggle to lock the From Email and Name to prevent changes from plugins and themes.
  • Paste the Maileroo API Key you copied earlier into the API Key field.
  • Click Save and Continue to proceed.

Sending a Test Email

You’ll now see a screen prompting you to send a test email:

1. Enter the Recipient Email Address where you want to send the test.

2. Click Send Test Email to verify the configuration.

If the email is sent successfully, click Finish to complete the setup.

Checking Logs and Exploring More

  • To review sent emails, click View Logs Section.
  • If you want to skip log viewing, click Skip to the Dashboard to go to the main interface.
  • There’s more to explore – check the dashboard for additional features and settings to optimize your email delivery.

With Maileroo integrated through Post SMTP, your WordPress site is equipped to send authenticated, reliable emails without deliverability issues.
