Hello,
I’ve configured Post SMTP with Office365 API and extension. Emails are being delivered to distribution list, and they arrive as they should.
However, when tested with Contact form 7, I’m always getting in Outlook:
wordpress@subdomain.domain.com; on behalf of; Sender name <email@domain.com>.
Is there a way to remove this “on behalf of” part?
Will it behave the same with Woocommerce sending emails?
Thanks!
Hi Zvonimir,
Can you check the session log for one of the affected emails? I suspect it will say that it was sent via smtp:none:none://localhost:25
If this is the case, then unfortunately this is due to a known bug. The developer is working on this, but unfortunately I don’t have a timescale for the fix to give you right now.
Kind Regards,
Tim
Thank you Tim,
it’s exactly as you said: smtp:none:none://localhost:25
Any suggestions if I should configure plugin in some other way…without OAuth maybe…?
Cheers,
Zvonimir
Hi Zvonimir,
Unfortuantely the API extension isn’t going to work with your site for now then. The best option is to consider using Authenticated SMTP, as that will work.
Kind Regards,
Tim
