So. After removing 365 plugin and files – my post smtp stopped working.
Multiple errors.
Ended up using another plugin to get the client contact form back up.
Never even got to launching 365 plugin.
paddy pepinoParticipantI deleted office365 from admin page.
Then I deleted all related files from phpMyAdmin.
I download a fresh copy of the 365 plugin.
Upon upload and re-install there was a notification that plugin was already intalled.
What ??
I was prompted to overwrite existing plugin – which I did.
I now have 365 plugin installed – but not yet activated.
Waiting for answer to step 1 serial number.
And whether I can use my previous Azure setup.
I saved the secret key – but wondering if I should set up a NEW azure app before completing 365 plugin re-installation.
paddy pepinoParticipantHi Tim….
I am going to try and delete Office365 plugin – and all related files in the database.
I want to confirm that the 1st step – enter serial key – that the key is the actual LICENSE code received from downloading the plugin.
Or is there supposed to be a new serial number AFTER activation of plugin ?
I wanted to wait until the weekend when my client’s business is closed.
paddy pepinoParticipantYea…
I am confusing what forum I am in.
At times – it is difficut to talk about one plugin without mentioning the other.
Thanks for getting back to me.
paddy pepinoParticipantMy contact form stopped working / sending ANY email -including outlook – after activating extension – again.
Another critical error. I disabled it via cPanel file manager – again.
And then I ran thru the setup – again – for the plugin we can’t mention here.
And I regained outgoing functionality of my contact form.
So. All is swell right now with my contact form.
But – the plugin we can’t mention here – is disabled.
paddy pepinoParticipantActivating extension still crashes the site. Same errors.
And it broke my outgoing outlook mail.
paddy pepinoParticipantChanging the email in Wizard Step 2 did the trick.
Elementor Contact form submission is reaching my outlook client email.
Still have to re-activate plugins – fingers crossed.
And it works without using extension.
Diagnostics available if you want them.
Should I still launch the extension or let sleeping dogs lie ?
paddy pepinoParticipantduly noted
paddy pepinoParticipantI started the post smtp wizard I am unsure what email address to add in step 2.
Is it the Outlook address and password OR is it my wordpress admin email with user name ?
I also posted this in post smtp forum
paddy pepinoParticipantDeactivated almost all plugins and received fatal error when reactivating extension:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

paddy pepinoParticipantI did NOT disble ALL plugins as it is a working site.
The cache plugin seemd to do the trick – initially
I will see how many I can deactivte without messing up the site.
And try to reactivate extension….again.

Had to disable in cPanel file manager to re-gain access to site.
What next ?
paddy pepinoParticipantI did not try it I – thought you were going to do it.
Looks like you are loged on.
Want me to try and activate it ?
paddy pepinoParticipantI will do that right now.
