I did NOT disble ALL plugins as it is a working site.
The cache plugin seemd to do the trick – initially
I will see how many I can deactivte without messing up the site.
And try to reactivate extension….again.
February 1, 2021 at 9:10 pm #57984TimModeratorHi Paddy,
Okay, let me know how you get on with that. Please do also check your Post SMTP settings.
Kind Regards,

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

February 1, 2021 at 9:18 pm #57988TimModeratorHi Paddy,
Please could you fix your mail settings in the main Post SMTP plugin first, and then try activating? Currently even test mails are failing.
As mentioned before, if you need a set up service – we do offer this.
Kind Regards,
TimFebruary 1, 2021 at 9:25 pm #57990paddy pepinoParticipantI started the post smtp wizard I am unsure what email address to add in step 2.
Is it the Outlook address and password OR is it my wordpress admin email with user name ?
I also posted this in post smtp forum
February 1, 2021 at 9:27 pm #57992TimModeratorHi Paddy,
Please stick to once place, here is best as it is an extension. It is against the WP.org forum guidelines for us to support the extensions over there. Me or Yehuda will always get back to you as soon as we can.
Your email address in Post SMTP should be your sender email address – so in this case your Outlook address. It does not need to be the same as your WP admin email.

February 1, 2021 at 9:33 pm #58002TimModeratorHi Paddy,
Thanks you. Please let me know how you get on when you have made those changes.

TimFebruary 1, 2021 at 10:22 pm #58006paddy pepinoParticipantChanging the email in Wizard Step 2 did the trick.
Elementor Contact form submission is reaching my outlook client email.
Still have to re-activate plugins – fingers crossed.
And it works without using extension.
Diagnostics available if you want them.
Should I still launch the extension or let sleeping dogs lie ?
February 1, 2021 at 10:40 pm #58008TimModeratorHi Paddy,
Can you confirm you got the Office 365 API extension working okay?
If that’s running, you should be able to activate your other plugin. Do this one by one though, so that you know which plugin causes you issues (if any).
Kind Regards,
TimFebruary 1, 2021 at 11:10 pm #58020paddy pepinoParticipantActivating extension still crashes the site. Same errors.
And it broke my outgoing outlook mail.
February 2, 2021 at 2:28 pm #58132TimModeratorHi Paddy,
This is weird. What do you mean by it broke your outgoing Outlook mail?
I’m going to ask Yehuda to have a look at this thread, but he is very busy so there may be a bit of a wait.

TimFebruary 2, 2021 at 2:38 pm #58134paddy pepinoParticipantMy contact form stopped working / sending ANY email -including outlook – after activating extension – again.
Another critical error. I disabled it via cPanel file manager – again.
And then I ran thru the setup – again – for the plugin we can’t mention here.
And I regained outgoing functionality of my contact form.
So. All is swell right now with my contact form.
But – the plugin we can’t mention here – is disabled.
February 2, 2021 at 2:44 pm #58136TimModeratorHi Paddy,
I think you are confusing the forums. This is the place to talk about the Office 365 API extension – you’re on the developer’s forum, so that is fine. It is the WP.org forum it can’t be discussed on.
I’ve passed this thread over to Yehuda, he will let you know as soon as he can. Thanks for the summary.
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
TimFebruary 2, 2021 at 2:49 pm #58143paddy pepinoParticipantYea…
I am confusing what forum I am in.
At times – it is difficut to talk about one plugin without mentioning the other.
Thanks for getting back to me.
