Elastic Email with Post SMTP

Elastic Email provides the API to send emails and it will allow you to send 1000 emails at only $0.10 which is a very low price considering the service they offer.

With an emphasis on delivering high deliverability rates and ensuring that emails reach their intended recipients, Elastic Email offers a variety of features and tools to streamline the email marketing process.

Setting up the Elastic Email Account: –

To get started, you’ll need an Elastic Email account. If you don’t have one, click on Try for Free and sign up for a new Elastic Email account.

A product window page will open. Choose the product named with Email API.

The sign-up screen will appear with the fields Email, Password, First Name, and Last Name. Check on both checkboxes; under it, there is a verification checkbox for human verification.

Check that and then click Sign Up.

After clicking on Sign up, you will see a setup screen. This page is divided into five sections.

To proceed, you need to fill this with the required information. Click Continue after filling in the required information.

The second section will appear; choose the best option for Who will use this account? And What describes your role in the company? After selecting that, click Continue to proceed.

Do the same with the remaining sections.

Here, Click on Finish Survey to proceed.

 Now, a welcome page will appear with the Let’s Start button! 

Installing and Activating the Post SMTP Plugin: –

Before getting started, you’ll need to install the Post SMTP plugin.

Let’s cover the steps to set up Elastic Email with Post SMTP.

Go to the Post SMTP dashboard and click on Start the wizard.

Mailer: –

 A window will pop up containing different Mailers services. Select Elastic Email from here.

For the From Address, there are two required fields.

a.     From Email (You must use the same email address you used to log in to your Elastic Email account.)

b.     From Name.

The “Prevent plugins and themes for changing this” toggle button will be under the From Email and Name fields. Check both of them enabled.

Now, you have to enter the API Key. Click on API Key to redirect to the Elastic Email API Key screen.

 Creating an API Key: –

You will be redirected to the dashboard of Elastic Email. You will see the settings on the left side of the window. Click on it.

Now you will see Create additional API key and Manage API keys under the title of API.

To create an API Key, click on Create additional API key.

 Name the API Key, and for the Permissions, select Full access. Click on Create.

After clicking on the Create button, it will automatically create an API Key. Copy the API Key.

Return to the window or tab where the Post SMTP setup wizard is open. Paste the API Key in the API Key field in the setup wizard, which you have copied from Elastic Email.

Click on Save & Continue.

Sending a Test Email: –

A screen will appear with the field Recipient Email Address. This step will allow you to send an email address for testing.

Enter the recipient’s email address and click Send Test Email.

Click on the Finish button.

You can view the log section by clicking the “View logs section” buttons or skip to the dashboard by clicking Skip to dashboard.

That’s it! Now, you can configure Post SMTP with Mailjet on your WordPress site.
