Mailjet with Post SMTP

Mailjet offers a robust and secure platform for sending emails, and what’s more, it provides a free plan that allows you to get started without any financial commitment. With Post SMTP, you can harness the power of Mailjet’s reliable email delivery services, ensuring your emails reach your audience effectively and efficiently.

Setting up the Mailjet Account: –

To get started, you’ll need a Mailjet account. If you have an existing account, fill in the Email and Password field. Click on Log in.

If you don’t have one, sign up for a new Mailjet account. Fill in the required fields and click on Sign Up.

After clicking on Sign Up, It will take you to the confirmation page of your subscription plan.

You can also change the plan from free to paid.

To proceed, click on Complete Order

After clicking on Complete order, you will be directed to the dashboard of the Mailjet. You will see the activation email message at the top of the tab.

You will receive an activation email on the email address you used to Sign Up for Mailjet.

You will see an email for the account activation. Open that and click on Activate my account.

A pop-up window will appear with a message Account successfully activated.

The pop-up window will display a ” Let’s do this ” button. Click on that, and you will be redirected to the dashboard of Mailjet.

Installing and Activating the Post SMTP Plugin: –

Before getting started, you’ll need to install the Post SMTP plugin.

Let’s cover the steps to set up Mailjet with Post SMTP.

Go to the Post SMTP dashboard and click on Start the wizard.

Mailer: –

A window will pop up containing different Mailers services; select Mailjet from here.

For the From Address, there are two required fields.

a.     From Email (You must use the same email address you used to log in to your Mailjet account.)

b.     From Name.

The “Prevent plugins and themes for changing this” toggle button will be under the From Email and Name fields. Check both of them enabled.

 In the next step, you have to enter the API Key and Secret Key.

Creating an API Key: –

Go to the dashboard of Mailjet. You will see the API tab next to Stats at the top right of the window.

A new page will appear with a Create sub-account (API KEY) buttonClick on that.

A pop-up window will appear with the Sub-account (API Key) fieldEnter the name of the API Key and click on Create.

 It will automatically generate the API Key and Secret Key. Copy both the keys and navigate back to the tab or window where you left the Post SMTP wizard open.

Paste the API and Secret Key in the Post SMTP plugin.

Click Save and Continue.

Sending a Test Email: –

A screen will appear with the field Recipient Email Address. This step will allow you to send an email address for testing.

Enter the Recipient email address and click Send Test Email.

Click on the Finish button.

You can view the log section by clicking the “View logs section” buttons or skip to the dashboard by clicking Skip to dashboard.

That’s it! Now, you can configure Post SMTP with Mailjet on your WordPress site.
