To add to that, I have asked Yehuda (the developer) to look at this as soon as he can. My apologies that it is not yet sorted, as he is very busy.
Thank you all for providing additional debug information – this will be helpful.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Jim,
Please adjust your callback URL to
ourdomain.com/wp-admin/
including the trailing slash – that might be a part of your problem.Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Yew,
Thanks, that worked.
Can I check what the email address is of the account in Office 365 that you connected to via the Azure App?
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Yew,
That’s very strange. I tried to login to the dev site you provided – but it is redirecting me to your O365. Any ideas?
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorThanks Jack! Have sent you an email.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Jack,
Sounds good, as these forums are public I’m won’t pop my email on this thread! If you let me know your email in a private reply I’ll touch base with you. Unfortunately I can’t send a private reply to you.
I spoke to the developer, Yehuda, earlier and he has sorted the fix but needs to release the new version on the WP.org repo so that everyone can pull it in as an update. I hope this will be soon, but he is working on a busy project with a tight deadline at the moment.
Thanks!
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Yew,
That’s weird – it’s normally the opposite! Can I confirm that’s all sorted? Glad you were able to find a solution though.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Jack,
Thanks – there does seem to be some kind of issue with certain roles at the moment, we’re working on it. Sorry about that.
I’ve had a look at your set up (thanks for the login), and notice you aren’t using the Office 365 API. I would recommend this, is there a reason you’re not using the API extension? It’s definitely more reliable for avoiding authentication errors.
PS – I’m based in the same city as your business! What are the chances!? 🙂
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Jack,
Can you also provide us a login? Again, don’t forget to mark the reply as private.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Yew,
Thanks for posting here. I wanted to ask whether you could provide us with a login to your site to take a look? We’re not allowed to ask on WP.org. 🙂
If you are able to do that, please mark your reply as ‘private’, so it is only visible to yourself, me, and the developer.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Paddy,
Thanks for your message. This is all a bit strange, I’m not sure what’s going on here! The serial number that you need is the one you got when you “purchased” the extension (for free) through this website. It should appear in your account here. If you can’t see it, I would go back through the (free) purchase process here.
It might be best to delete your existing Azure app and start again. Make sure that you follow this guide carefully: https://postmansmtp.com/configure-office-365-integration/
Hope that helps.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Paddy,
No problem. As these forums are owned by the developer who makes the base plugin (Post SMTP) and the extensions – you can talk about them all here freely. 🙂
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Paddy,
I think you are confusing the forums. This is the place to talk about the Office 365 API extension – you’re on the developer’s forum, so that is fine. It is the WP.org forum it can’t be discussed on.
I’ve passed this thread over to Yehuda, he will let you know as soon as he can. Thanks for the summary.
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Paddy,
This is weird. What do you mean by it broke your outgoing Outlook mail?
I’m going to ask Yehuda to have a look at this thread, but he is very busy so there may be a bit of a wait.
Kind Regards,
TimTimModeratorHi Paddy,
Can you confirm you got the Office 365 API extension working okay?
If that’s running, you should be able to activate your other plugin. Do this one by one though, so that you know which plugin causes you issues (if any).
Kind Regards,
