Fallback settings using Google App Password

1. Go to Post SMTP and click on show all settings.

2. Click on the Fallback tab.

3. Now go to your Google account and choose security on the left panel. Users have to configure 2-step verification.

4. Write the app password in the search bar and select App Password.

5. The app password window will appear. The user has to select Other (Custom Name).

6. Enter the name and click on generate button. It will generate the app password. Copy that.

7. Go back to the Fall Back settings of the Post SMTP and fill up the required field. Click on save changes.

8. The fallback settings have been successfully configured. Now if the email failed to be sent to the required recipient by the socket it will automatically be sent using the fallback settings.
